Seabank Holiday Cottage is situated in the village of Aultgrishan, Melvaig, Wester Ross in the North West Highlands of Scotland.
It was built around 1900 and is a traditional West Highland croft house, which has been extended. It occupies an elevated position on the Wester Ross Coast with spectacular, uninterrupted views towards Skye, Harris and Lewis. Access is via a private road and bridge over a small burn. You can use the map below to help you find the house.To reach Seabank holiday cottage by car from Gairloch take the B8021, sign posted for Big Sand and Melvaig. Follow the road past the Youth Hostel and Big Sand Holiday Park for about 8 miles.
Continue on the road past Big Sand and North Erradale. Follow the road along the coast until you reach the village of Aultgrishan, continue along the road until you reach Seabank on the left. It’s well sign posted at the side of the road. Turn left down the private road and over the bridge. You’ll have to open the gate into the garden as it has to be kept shut to keep the sheep out!!
The house is approximately one and three quarter hour’s drive from Inverness, capital of the Highlands. Some of the most stunning scenery in the west of Scotland is close, or within easy travelling distance of Seabank. The recently established, North Coast 500 route passes close by the house.

Accommodation
The spacious accommodation offers three stylish bedrooms, all with stunning views. Two bathrooms / shower rooms; a living room; modern dining kitchen and a large conservatory with excellent views.
The ground floor comprises a double bedroom with built in mirrored wardrobes; a bathroom with over bath power shower; a spacious lounge with open fire, flat screen TV with Sky television and Blue-ray player. Also on the ground floor is a modern, well equipped kitchen with an electric hob, grill and fan assisted oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a small dining table within the kitchen which seats four.
A tumble dryer is located in the garage. Access to a large dining conservatory is granted from the living room, which also has a seating area with sofa affording views towards Skye, Rona, Rassay, Harris and Lewis. Patio doors lead to a large enclosed garden area with additional outdoor seating areas. A porch to the front of the house offers a storage area for jackets, boots and shoes.
The first floor comprises a king size bedroom, a twin room with two single beds and a shower room with large walk in shower cubicle (also a power shower).
Each room has a radiator with both bathrooms having heated towel rails. All bed linen and towels are provided.
